MARATHON OF PARIS 2025

This Sunday, 13 April, over 55,000 runners lined up for the 2025 Paris Marathon : a major international event that once again transformed the streets of the capital into a true sporting stage. At the heart of the excitement : RF FACTORY, responsible for RF coverage for France.tv Sport, with an exceptional technical setup.

Thanks to its renowned expertise and full command of mobile capture technologies, RF FACTORY deployed :

• 4 electric scooters to film the runners up close through the streets of Paris, delivering dynamic and immersive footage, in sync with the pace of the race.

• 1 sound motorcycle carrying a journalist, offering live commentary from within the heart of the pack.

• A helicopter and a relay plane, ensuring continuous aerial coverage and stable signal transmission : even in the most challenging areas.

On the IXI LIVE side, a heavy camera mounted on a jib was positioned just metres past the starting line to capture spectacular shots, while a portable camera closely followed the emotional and high-energy opening moments of the race.

The entire live production was managed from IXI Prod 1, the technological flagship of our fleet, ensuring a smooth, high-quality, real-time broadcast for all France.tv Sport viewers.
